Helen’s role involves overseeing the strategic development of Plexus Support Services as well as managing its day-to-day operations. Helen was formerly PSS’s Director of Services and before that its Head of Operations. She had previously worked in communications, public relations and broadcast journalism.
Amanda joined PSS as its Business Support and Finance Officer in May 2018 and was promoted to Business Support and Finance Manager in October 2022. She manages all of PSS’s accounts and payroll.
Jenni joined Plexus in June 2024 and currently works as a Business Development Manager. Responsible for driving business growth and identifying new business opportunities; Jenni works closely with our suppliers and customers to ensure we deliver the best price for our products and services and keeps customer service excellence at the forefront of everything she does.
Ashleigh joined the PSS team in January 2020 and currently works as a Business Support Officer. Ashleigh provides support to the Buying Group in an important customer facing role. This includes liaising with suppliers, working on sales data and is the first point of call for membership queries. Her work is sometimes behind the scenes to support the wider team in the day-to-day operations.
Raheema joined the PSS team as the Communications and Events Assistant in 2020 and was promoted to her current role in April 2023. Her role includes responsibility over the social media platforms and preparation of events throughout the year.
Alima Din, Client Services Assistant
Alima joined Plexus in 2025 as our Client Services Assistant. Supporting queries from all stakeholders, she ensures they are connected to the appropriate team member and that everyone receives a great customer service experience. Being the first contact for many, she also thrives in assisting the in-house team and associates with the planning and administration for events and meetings.'
Michael’s role involves supporting the work of our Business Development team to identify and develop new services for Plexus' customers. He is also Chief Executive of NLMC Ltd and lead for the LMC Support Network. He was previously Director of Primary Care in a local CCG following experience in NHS project management and after that GP practice management. Prior to this he served in the Royal Air Force medical services.

Dr Gemma Wilkinson, Medical Director
Gemma has been a local GP for almost 20 years. She has a longstanding interest in medical education and has always valued a portfolio career. She has been involved with undergraduate and postgraduate education for doctors, nurses and other health professionals. She is enthusiastic about supporting colleagues to have fulfilling and sustainable careers.
Dr Daniel Crowfoot, Early Career GP Scheme Lead
Dan works as a GP in Nottinghamshire after completing training with the Nottingham GP Specialist Training Programme. Daniel undertook a post-CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) Fellowship and developed an interest in Medical Education and completed a Master’s in Medical Education. He now holds a portfolio career in undergraduate medical student education and clinical work as a GP.
Dr Clare Veltman, Mid and Senior GP Schemes Lead
Clare completed GP training in Nottingham and was a GP partner in Derbyshire for 15 years before embarking upon a change in career direction, becoming a salaried GP and making a start on developing a portfolio career. As well as working in General Practice, Clare is also a GP Appraiser, GP Peer Mentor and Mentor Lead and is enjoying the variety of work these roles offer.
Dr Minali Gupta, Trailblazer Fellowship Scheme Lead
Minali is a portfolio GP working in Hyson Green. Her passion for medical education and health inequalities led her to complete the Trailblazer Fellowship in 2021 and also become a GP Educational Supervisor/Trainer with a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education. Minali has now found the perfect role combining all of her interests as the Educational Lead for the Nottingham Trailblazer Fellowship. She also works as a GP Associate for Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub as a member of the multi-professional support unit.
Dr Natasha Davidson, GP Returners and Wellbeing Schemes Lead
Natasha is a portfolio GP working in a practice in Rushcliffe. After foundation training and three years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology training, Natasha changed career path and finally completed her GP training in 2018. She has an interest in both medical education and Gynaecology. As well as clinical sessions, Natasha works within the Community Gynaecology clinics with PICS.
Alison Rounce, Non-Clinical Workforce Schemes Co-Lead
Ali has over 32 years of experience in primary care with a rich background in general practice as a non-clinical partner. She has always been passionate about shaping community health services and is the co-founder of PICS (Primary Integrated Community Services), an organisation dedicated to enhancing integrated care within communities. Ali is also the PCN Director for Nottingham West PCN, where she works with colleagues to drive innovation and collaboration in primary care networks.
Dr Errum Mumtaz, Non-Clinical Workforce and Wellbeing Schemes Co-Lead
Errum qualified as a GP from the Nottingham VTS in 2019 and currently practises in Ilkeston. She enjoys a diverse portfolio career, with roles at the Phoenix Programme and the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub. As a passionate advocate for workforce retention in General Practice, Errum leads a variety of work streams supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Dr Sarah Hamlyn, Trainer
Sarah has been part of the training team since 2021, delivering several bespoke workshops and co-trained a group of healthcare professionals in becoming mentors themselves. Otherwise, Sarah works mainly as a GP at the University practice, but is also a GP trainer, a teaching fellow at the university, an appraiser, a Botox administrator for the neurology team and a mentor.
Dr Katie Cowley, Trainer
Katie has training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Compassionate Communication and Time to Think supervision techniques. She has completed a diploma in transformational coaching and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Katie is currently undertaking an advanced diploma to register as a senior practitioner with the EMCC. Katie is also a GP Partner with a particular interest in dementia.
Dr Natalie Brown, Trainer
Natalie is a salaried and locum GP, having previously worked as a GP partner for 14 yrs until 2016. She enjoys a varied working life as a portfolio GP encompassing being a GP appraiser, a mentor, a medical student tutor and a facilitator for coaching and mentoring training.

Anne has spent 35 years developing and supporting individuals and teams to achieve way beyond their expectations. Her experience in designing, directing and managing change spans both the public and private sector. Anne's extensive operational background provides adaptability, team leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and strong business awareness.
