What We Offer
We created mid and senior career PCN fellowship posts for colleagues wishing to undertake funded project work. The fellowships run for 12 months. Our fourth cohort of fellows started their projects in March 2025.
Past fellows have worked collaboratively with colleagues within their PCNs and across the system on a range of projects including:
- Clinical – cardiovascular disease and diabetes prevention and diagnosis, a diabetes education programme and group consultations, improving screening and immunisation uptake, paediatric asthma and targeted lung health, LARC provision and menopause care
- Systems improvement – health inequalities, practice access, communication with care homes, pathology processes, patient engagement, severe multiple deprivation and links with education providers
We currently only work with Nottinghamshire GPs but are happy to speak to other organisations to see if we can support mid and senior career GPs in other areas.
